The Consortium of Eight Kwara Universities (KU8) comprises all partcipating universities in Kwara state approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria
KU8 realises the need for collaboration and partnership in achieving its members respective tripartite mandate of teaching, research and community service/development and decides to establish academic linkages beneficial to its respective members to promote joint studies and educational exchanges of mutual benefits in consideraton of the mutual benefits to be derived therefrom, and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the sufficiency of which is hereby agreed to and accepted.
KU8 envisions a dynamic consortium of universities in Kwara State, Nigeria, serving as leaders in education, research, and community development, driving socio-economic transformation and fostering global excellence.
To advance education, research, and innovation in Kwara State, Nigeria, KU8 collaborates to develop a world-class university system responsive to local needs and global challenges.
